We are a global company, and our products—including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles and accessories—can be found all over the world.Job DescriptionAs a Controls Engineering intern at JLG, you will assist Electrical Controls Engineers in the design, validation, and maintenance of both hardware and software components for mobile construction vehicle control systems.YOUR IMPACT<ul><li>Assist Electrical Controls Engineers in the design and integration of mobile construction vehicle control/embedded systems using model-based development.</li><li>Assist Electrical Controls Engineers in documenting systems designs.</li><li>Assist Engineers in evaluation of software and electrical components for quality, reliability, manufacturability, and compatibility of control system designs.</li><li>Utilize proprietary debugging and programming tools to update modules and debug system functionality</li><li>Interface / utilize / design complex test fixtures simulating vehicle control systems for design and testing of controls hardware and software.</li><li>Assist in development of control systems test protocols and processes. Operate mobile construction vehicles to understand, design, and test control systems.</li><li>Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to find solutions to problems.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Pursuing Bachelor's in Electrical, Controls Engineering or a related field</li><li>3.0 GPA or higher</li></ul>Pay Range:$18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
