The candidate will play a crucial role in designing,</div><div>developing, and overseeing the software architecture of our innovative AgTech solutions.</div><div>The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the latest technologies, software development</div><div>methodologies, and a passion for creating efficient and scalable data systems to resolve complex</div><div>agricultural technology challenges.</div><br><br><h3>What You Will Do:</h3><ul><li><b>Design and Development</b></li><li>		Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions, focusing on stability, scalability, and performance.</li><li>	Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features and</li><li>enhancements.</li><li>	Employ AWS services efficiently to architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions, starting with ingestion of sensor data from IoT devices through data presentation in web and mobile applications and data delivery via API.</li><li><b>Technical Leadership</b></li><li>	Mentor development teams on best practices, code quality, and architectural vision.</li><li>	Ensure the implementation of agreed-upon architecture and design.</li><li>	Provide guidance on the technical feasibility and scope of upcoming projects and initiatives.</li><li><b>Strategic Planning</b></li><li>	Develop architectural and technical plans to facilitate the execution of product roadmaps.</li><li>	Evaluate emerging technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company's products.</li><li><b>Documentation and Compliance</b></li><li>	Create comprehensive documentation for the software architecture and design.</li><li>	Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, including security and data protection.</li></ul><h3>What You Bring:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>A minimum of [12 years] of experience in software development and 5+ years as a Senior Technical Manager or Principal Engineer</li><li>Strong expertise in AWS services, Cloud Native solutions using Kubernetes</li><li>Proven experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance data systems. Prior experience with leading data platforms is a plus.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, design, and deployment.</li><li>Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><h3>Necessary technical skills:</h3><ul><li>Expert in managing AWS Cloud (Design, Provision, Security, Costing, Compliance etc.,) and AWS services like ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, SQS etc.</li><li>Expert in Infrastructure management using Terraform, CDK, Helm, ArgoCD etc.,, proficient in developing solutions using Docker, Kubernetes etc.,</li><li>Hands on with DevOps/GitOps, CI/CD practices, Release Management, Continuous Monitoring/Observability</li><li>Proficient in multiple high-level programming languages and data structures, prefer strong Pythonic mindset</li></ul><h3>Desired technical skills:</h3><ul><li>Proven experience or knowledge in the Agricultural Technology (AgTech) sector.</li><li>Skilled in advanced AI/ML techniques, including Generative AI (GenAI), Agentic frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and MCP Server.</li><li>Experience integrating with external systems such as IBM Weather and NASA GIS data via APIs or Data Integration platforms.</li></ul><h3>Qualities for Success:</h3><ul><li>Sustainability-Focused: Deep commitment to global food systems and environmental impact.</li><li>Agile and Adaptable: Thrives in fast-paced environments, capable of managing diverse responsibilities, and proficient in navigating new challenges while staying current with emerging technologies.</li><li>Technical Ownership: Takes initiative in projects and significantly influences the technology roadmap.</li><li>Collaborative Communicator: Effectively communicates and collaborates across various teams.</li><li>Innovative Problem-Solver: Designs cost-effective solutions and adeptly troubleshoots issues in the field.</li><li>Inspirational Leader: Possesses the ability to inspire, mentor, and elevate both peers and partners.</li></ul><br><div>Why Join Arable?</div><div>Join top innovators in Ag Tech and help transform global agriculture.
