This role offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of a key interior commodity from concept development through release and launch—working closely with a Senior Engineer and cross-functional teams  Your Role <ul><li>Assist in the design and engineering of center console mechanisms, including map pocket lids, armrest storage, and handle actuation systems. </li></ul><ul><li>Support the release of engineering documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and BOMs. </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in supplier reviews and support issue resolution during prototype and production builds. </li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to launch readiness activities including validation testing, fit &amp; finish assessments, and build support. </li></ul><ul><li>Help track program milestones and maintain documentation for design reviews and gateways. </li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>Currently pursuing a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. </li></ul><ul><li>Prior internship or project experience with a Tier 1 supplier or OEM is strongly preferred. </li></ul><ul><li>Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX, or similar). </li></ul><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li></ul><ul><li>Passion for automotive design and user-focused innovation. </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus. </li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Previous internship or project experience in automotive or consumer product development. </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with vehicle packaging, materials, and manufacturing processes. </li></ul> What We Offer <ul><li>A dynamic and collaborative work environment. </li></ul><ul><li>Exposure to real-world engineering challenges and product development cycles. </li></ul><ul><li>Mentorship from experienced engineers and cross-functional teams. </li></ul><ul><li>Opportunity to contribute to visible and customer-facing vehicle features. </li></ul><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
