Role SummaryThe Director, VPP Operations will own Renew Home's VPP operations, spanning Markets and Utilities. You will be responsible for translating complex regulatory and market requirements into error-free operational workflows, ensuring the day-to-day fulfillment of our energy market contracts portfolio. As a critical link to internal teams like Policy, Product, Engineering, and Legal, you will establish and refine operational processes that ensure we meet our contractual and regulatory commitments.What You Will Do<ul> <li>Own Operational Strategy &amp; Excellence: You'll design, implement, and continuously improve operational strategies and tools to ensure error-free execution that meets both regulatory and business goals. </li> <li>Manage VPP Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operational tasks required to run our VPPs across the California and New York electric markets, including contract fulfillment, compliance submissions and reporting, market bidding and event planning, and alignment with future product development. Your role will include breaking down complex tasks into manageable deliverables and communicating progress effectively to the team.</li> <li>Data Analysis &amp; Reporting: Utilize Excel and data tools like Sisense to generate insights and track Market VPP performance. </li> <li>Manage External Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for external parties, including regulatory agencies and contract counterparties.
