The role is part of a growing team that developed the first easy-to-access trading platform for SMEs compliant to European Emissions Allowances (EUAs). The back-end developer will contribute to building features with user impact, help maintain the codebase, collaborate with various stakeholders, and learn about ensuring the scalability and performance of our systems to support business growth. The ideal candidate has a passion for solving technical challenges, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders.If you thrive in an innovative environment where your contributions directly influence the success of the platform and its users, we encourage you to join our team and help shape the future of sustainable trading solutions.<ul><li>1-3 working experience as a Back-End Developer.</li></ul><ul><li>Some experience in developing web applications.</li></ul><ul><li>A foundational understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts – experience with PHP is a plus, but we welcome enthusiastic learners familiar with other OOP languages.</li><li>Familiarity with or eagerness to learn frameworks such as Symfony.</li><li>Fluency in English – written &amp; verbal.</li><li>An aptitude for understanding business logic and the drive to learn how to translate it effectively into working code.</li><li>Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and with different stakeholders.</li></ul>Your skills and experiences<ul><li>Some working experience or strong foundational knowledge of PHP.
