<div><span>IT Manager</span></div><div>Transdev in Las Vegas, NV (Fixed Route)<span>&nbsp;</span>is<span>&nbsp;</span>seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager to lead the technology operations for our fixed-route bus system. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.</span>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><span>Key Responsibilities:</span></div><ul><li>Administer and maintain all fixed-route ITS hardware and software systems, including those provided by RTC.</li><li>Monitor and ensure uptime and functionality of AVL, CAD/AVL, onboard Wi-Fi, APCs, and digital signage systems.</li><li>Coordinate with RTC support to address service issues, software updates, and integration requests.</li><li>Install, configure, and support Microsoft Office.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of installation and configuration of Microsoft Office</li><li>Oversee installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of vehicle hardware (e.g., routers, modems, tablets, GPS units).</li><li>Ensure accurate data capture from buses for reporting ridership, on-time performance, and service planning.</li><li>Create and maintain real-time dashboards and generate monthly performance reports from RTC and other platforms.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact with RTC Technologies and other transit tech vendors.</li><li>Coordinate service-level agreements (SLAs), contracts, upgrades, and licensing renewals.</li><li>Provide hands-on support for IT issues affecting operations staff and drivers.</li><li>Develop and deliver training materials for staff on technology tools and platforms.</li><li>Lead IT projects related to transit technology upgrades, deployments, and system integrations.</li><li>Work closely with operations and planning teams to align IT initiatives with agency goals.</li><li>Manage all aspects of office moves, including phone system and network services and configuration, security systems (entry areas and video systems).</li><li>Manage regional hardware and software upgrades.</li><li>Maintain operability of regional software and hardware, including servers, computers and phone systems.</li></ul><div><span>Qualifications:</span></div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Transportation Technology, or related field.</li><li>3+ years of IT experience, preferably in transportation, transit technology, or a field involving mobile fleet systems.</li><li>Experience managing or working with RTC or similar AVL/CAD systems is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong knowledge of networking, cloud systems, Windows OS, and mobile device management.</li><li>Ability to read technical documentation, diagnose system issues, and implement solutions efficiently.</li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.</li><li>Comfortable working in an operational environment that includes fieldwork with vehicle systems.</li><li>CompTIA Network+, A+, or Security+ (preferred)</li><li>Microsoft or Cisco certifications (preferred)</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) Foundation a plus (preferred)</li></ul><div><span>Physical Requirements:</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li>Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.</li><li>The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.</li><li>The work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.</li><li>Office and field-based work environment</li><li>Must have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.</li></ul><div><span>About Transdev</span>: Cities, counties, airports, companies, and universities across the U.S. contract with Transdev to operate their transportation systems, maintain their vehicle and fleets, and deliver on mobility solutions.
