AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Quality Control Specialist with experience in MEP for our project in Chicago, IL. <ul><li>Participate in subcontractor pre-installation meetings to review quality expectations and installation sequencing,</li><li>Collaborate with superintendents, foreman and subcontractors to ensure workmanship quality and consistent execution,</li><li>Perform regular field inspections of completed work to ensure it meets approved plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.</li><li>Assess overall workmanship across multiple trades (architectural, structural and MEP) using knowledge of construction sequencing and best practices</li><li>Identify, document and track non-conforming work, verify corrective actions and track resolutions to closure,</li><li>Maintain detailed inspection records, daily records and deficiency logs,</li><li>Assist in the continuous improvement of field quality practices by identifying recurring issues and recommend process changes, and</li><li>Support turnover activities by verifying documentation completeness and system readiness.</li><li>Develops and applies advanced quality assurance/control theories, as well as research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems on the forefront of new technologies. </li><li>Analyzes, evaluates and plans methods of approach, as well as organizes means to achieve solution of complex technical problems. </li><li>Reviews project process and evaluates results. </li><li>Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.</li><li>Conducts investigations and tests that are of moderate to considerable complexity. </li><li>Provides technical consultation to lower level engineers, technicians and inspectors.</li></ul>About Construction Management – AECOM HuntFounded in 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, <a href="https://aecom.com/aecom-hunt/">AECOM Hunt</a> has been building for over 70 years.
