Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Perform on-site installation, removal, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical seals and seal support systems</li><li>Support customers during commissioning/startup and shutdown of pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment.</li><li>Investigate and resolve seal failures and equipment performance issues in partnership with Reliability, Claims, and Sales teams.</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for seal-related issues in the field.</li><li>Deliver hands-on training to end users on mechanical seal operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Identify recurring service trends and communicate insights to internal teams to drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Serve as the technical, customer-facing resource for complex service challenges at industrial sites.</li><li>Support aftermarket sales efforts by recognizing new opportunities during site visits.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Direct experience with mechanical seal installation, removal, and troubleshooting (required).</li><li>5–10 years in a field service, maintenance, or rotating equipment role.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude; vocational training or technical certifications preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment.</li><li>Skilled in real-time problem-solving and independent fieldwork with minimal supervision.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic reporting.</li><li>Ability to meet physical and travel requirements (up to 75%, lift 50 lbs., industrial environments).</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
