The Financial Reporting Intern supports the Professional Services team by applying XBRL tagging to documents and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will create and implement SEC reporting files for public companies, ensuring accuracy before filing deadlines.What You'll Do<ul><li>Create and implement SEC reporting files for public companies using industry-leading software</li><li>Apply XBRL tagging information to financial statements and statement footnotes</li><li>Tie-out XBRL tagging information within financial statements and statement footnotes to ensure accuracy prior to filing deadline</li><li>Support Customer Success Managers, Professional Services Managers, and Directors while learning the core aspects of each position</li><li>Test features for Quality Assurance purposes and work with teams on special projects</li></ul>What You'll NeedMinimum Qualifications<ul><li>Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Accounting or a similar program; GPA of 3.2+ preferred</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Technically savvy and demonstrate a high level of competency using spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software</li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated through leadership positions in community, school, or other programs</li><li>Professional, outgoing, energetic personality with excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and take initiative</li><li>Attention to detail and follow-through are required</li><li>Experience using Excel, Word, Google Docs, and similar word processing programs</li></ul>Travel Requirements &amp; Working Conditions<ul><li>Minimal travel </li><li>Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office</li></ul>Sponsorship Requirements<ul><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future</li></ul>When can you expect to hear back?We are committed to attending all career fairs and recruitment events before closing our positions.
