Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design and implement data pipelines that consume data from RESTful APIs, streaming sources, and third-party platforms.</li><li>Develop and maintain Python, Fabric, and/or Microsoft Power Platform-based workflows for structured and unstructured data.</li><li>Collaborate with application engineers and network optimization engineers to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets used for customer-facing reports.</li><li>Optimize data ingestion and transformation processes for performance and scalability.</li><li>Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all pipelines.</li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and API integrations.</li><li>Work with cloud platforms and modern data tools</li><li>Document processes, schemas, and integration logic for internal stakeholders.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in data engineering or data analysis.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Python.</li><li>Proficient with API integrations (REST, Webhooks).</li><li>Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.</li><li>Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, Fabric, Superset, etc.).</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) or Radio Frequency (RF) networks a plus</li><li>Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).</li><li>Experience with streaming data (e.g., Kafka, Event Hubs, Pub/Sub).</li><li>Experience with Atlassian products and integrations (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)</li><li>Exposure to containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman).</li><li>Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.</li><li>Familiarity with ITIL business practices</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
