We are looking for candidates ideally with both AP and AR experience however we will consider strong backgrounds in either area as long as strong people management skills are evident. This will be on a 2 year fixed term contract basis.As the AP and AR Supervisor you will be responsible for the effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations in relation to P2P and billing process as well as day to day management of a team of administrators.Specific responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Responsible for Administrator objective setting in support of business KPI’s</li><li>Manage Month End Reporting</li><li>Manage half/year end activity</li><li>Manage team processing performance</li><li>Responsible for Payment Run Proposal</li><li>Manage all elements of supplier/Customer accounts, including:<ul><li>Set up and maintain supplier/Customer account master</li><li>Organise reconciliation of supplier statements, research and correct discrepancies</li><li>Reconcile processed work by verifying entries</li><li>Carry out monthly reconciliation of supplier account and solve outstanding transactions</li></ul></li><li>Responsible for resolving more complex issues with all major stakeholders within the P2P and Order to Cash processes</li><li>Manage the yearly housekeeping activity within the P2P process</li><li>Support with periodic audit requirement ensuring Jsox compliance</li></ul>Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company audit policy and accepted accounting practices<ul><li>Provide technical guidance and support to other accounting stuff</li><li>Ad-hoc duties to support the finance department as required</li></ul>About youEssential Requirements <ul><li>Previous experience of AP and/or AR with ERP Systems</li><li>Detail oriented, professional attitude and reliable</li><li>Possess strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable and or account receivable/general ledger systems and procedures</li><li>A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing</li><li>Experience of day-to-day management of a small/medium size team</li><li>KPI/SLA Management</li><li>Commitment to working as part of a team</li></ul>Desirable Requirements <ul><li>Experience of working within a global company</li><li>Experience of Power Bi</li></ul><ul><li>Experience of and commitment to the effective implementation of equal opportunities and CSR policies.</li><li>An understanding of health and safety requirements of a working environment</li></ul>What we offer We value the importance of all of our employees, if you would like to join our fantastic organisation you could be entitled to:<ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Annual Performance bonus paid on discretionary basis.</li><li>25 days holiday</li><li>Pension scheme with contributions up to 9%</li><li>Private medical insurance</li><li>Personal Accident insurance</li><li>Group Income protection</li><li>Group Life Insurance</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme</li></ul>We also offer additional perks for you to choose from within a flexible plan that will meet your specific needs and lifestyle.#LI-GF1Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
