Anthro is looking for a sharp, resourceful, and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our two co-founders, and ensure operational efficiency at our  Alameda office. This is a high-trust role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment, enjoys managing complex schedules and logistics, and takes pride in making people’s lives easier and more efficient.This role is primarily focused on executive support, with a secondary focus on office management and workplace experience. You'll be the air traffic controller behind the scenes—keeping calendars aligned, communication flowing, and our office running like a well-oiled machine.Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Calendar Management: Own the day-to-day scheduling for both co-founders, ensuring meetings are prioritized effectively, with a clear understanding of what to move and why.</li> <li>Communication Management: Monitor and respond to emails and Slack messages on behalf of the co-founders, maintaining clear and timely communication across stakeholders.</li> <li>Administrative Execution: Support with document organization, scheduling workflows, and ad hoc requests with speed and precision.</li> <li>Stakeholder Experience: Serve as a trusted extension of the co-founders, ensuring key meetings, communications, and interactions are thoughtfully managed.</li> <li>Travel &amp; Event Coordination: Plan travel logistics and for select internal/external events, such as candidate visits, leadership off-sites, and investor meetings.</li> <li>Workplace Operations: Maintain an organized and functional office environment—managing supplies, AV needs, and day-to-day operations.</li> <li>Visitor &amp; Event Hosting: Ensure an exceptional experience for guests—candidates, investors, execs—when visiting the office.</li> <li>Trip &amp; Event Logistics: Support leadership team off-sites including meeting planning, travel, and event setup.</li> <li>Culture &amp; Community: Assist in the planning of team gatherings, off-sites, and internal celebrations that foster connection and collaboration. </li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>3+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or high-level administrative role</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain structure in a fast-moving environment</li> <li>Comfort with direct feedback and a communication style that’s clear, candid, and fast-paced</li> <li>Tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of tools like Microsoft Teams, Asana, Slack, and Notion (or quick to learn)</li> <li>Reliable and proactive — takes initiative, asks thoughtful questions, and follows through without needing reminders</li> <li>On-site — based in Alameda with regular in-office presence and occasional flexibility for personal needs</li> </ul>Benefits<ul> <li>Competitive salary and equity compensation commensurate with experience.
