AECOM is seeking a Project Manager for highway and roadway design projects to be based in Markham, Ontario. The successful candidate will support project delivery in accordance with MTO (Ministry of Transportation, Ontario) standards and procedures while gaining leadership experience in transportation infrastructure projects.Job Description<ul><li>Assist in the management and coordination of highway and roadway design projects, ensuring compliance with MTO specifications and standards.</li><li>Support the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and estimates for highway and transportation infrastructure projects.</li><li>Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.</li><li>Assist in project scheduling, cost control, and liaison with the client during contract administration.</li><li>Participate in client meetings and stakeholder coordination, ensuring effective communication between all parties.</li><li>Support project risk management, quality assurance, and compliance with MTO and industry regulations.</li><li>Provide technical input for preliminary and detail design phases.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and proposals for project pursuits.</li><li>Develop an understanding of business development and proposal processes to support growth opportunities.</li></ul>Other Responsibilities<ul><li>Help track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.</li><li>Coordinate with internal and external teams to support efficient project execution.</li><li>Assist in budget management, invoicing, and financial reporting for assigned projects.</li><li>Gain exposure to AECOM’s project management certification process to develop leadership skills.</li></ul>
