AECOM is seeking a Specialist skilled in the Procurement of Construction Works and Services to be based in New York City. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Review project requirements and draft/review/finalize procurement strategy memos</li><li>Prepare and issue Requests for Information / Requests for Qualification / Requests for Proposal in client's Project Management Information System</li><li>Follow up with, and respond to vendors prior to releasing the RFP, during the bid period, and after bid submission, to answer any questions up to the award</li><li>Level and analyze bids based on completeness, competitiveness, compliance, adherence to quality expectations, cost, schedule, ESG, etc.</li><li>Be knowledgeable of industry trends to determine appropriate pricing</li><li>Prepare and issue analysis report and recommendation</li><li>Engage with General Contractors, Architects, Engineers and FF&amp;E vendors to execute the work strategy</li><li>Participating in successful and unsuccessful bidder calls</li><li>Participate in negotiation and evaluation of contracts</li><li>Prepare purchase orders, master agreements, letter agreements, and contracts for all appointments (architects/ engineers, project managers,, contractors, etc.), including any reviews with client's legal counsel</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractors</li><li>Conduct market research to identify new vendors and evaluate their capabilities</li><li>Manage and report various stakeholders from multiple divisions</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and budgets</li><li>Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for procurement processes</li></ul>
