AECOM is seeking a Design Manager to be based in San Diego, CA.The successful candidate will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of managing projects to achieve specified objectives. This role demands a high level of expertise in overall project planning, coordination, and control from inception to completion. The primary focus is to ensure the delivery of functionally and financially viable projects that meet stringent deadlines, adhere to authorized budgets, and maintain the highest quality standards.Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:• Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following: • Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR, • Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR, • Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc. • Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out). • Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals. • Manages other Project Managers.
