AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Counsel to work onsite at our project office located at the JFK International Airport in Jamaica, NY.Job Summary:Responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to:<ul><li>Gaining a deep understanding of the key project contracts and advising the project management team on the contractual impact of proposed actions.</li><li>Communicating with project and broader company teams, clients, governmental authorities and other stakeholders; Drafting project correspondence to be sent to key stakeholders, including the Developer and subcontractors.</li><li>Ensuring implementation of and team adherence to sound contract management and risk assessment policies; Reviewing and managing contract change orders/processes and ensuring that they comply with agreed-upon scope, schedule, and contract terms.</li><li>Negotiating contractual issues (changes, subcontracts, purchase orders etc.)</li><li>Preparing of reports, memoranda, correspondence, and other documents, as necessary.</li><li>Working collaboratively with diverse group of professionals, including the company’s executives, attorneys, risk and insurance managers, engineers, scientists and contracts staff, as well as the ability to work with attorneys for external clients and subcontractors.</li><li>Using online databases to document work and maintain updates.</li><li>Helping manage disputes and directing and overseeing the work of outside counsel.</li><li>Multi-tasking on a large number of various contract issues, claims and/or litigation, and general advice requests.</li></ul> <ul></ul>
