AECOM is currently seeking an Overhead Catenary System (OCS) Engineer with specialized skills in rail systems, to join our multidisciplinary Systems Design team in Western Canada and work on delivering an existing and future portfolio of projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: <ul><li>Develop detailed OCS designs for public transit rail projects.</li><li>Produce OCS design deliverables such as layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams, sectioning diagrams, foundation drawings, grounding drawings, and others.</li><li>Generate design reports for all phases of system design.</li><li>Produce Issued for Construction drawing and document packages.</li><li>Participate in the implementation phase of projects, such as Installation, Testing &amp; Commissioning, Cutover, Record Drawings and final reports.</li><li>Author procurement specifications, performing vendor bid evaluations and selection, and manage vendors until final delivery.</li><li>Interface with other technical disciplines such as Traction Power System, Comms Systems, S&amp;TCS, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Architectural, Trackwork, and Civil; including coordination and design of interfaces, both physical and functional.</li><li>Support the management of System Interfaces and creation of Interface Control Documents (ICDs).</li><li>Lead technical interactions with clients, operators, and other major stakeholders.</li><li>Support the authoring of project plan documents.</li><li>Support System Engineering and Assurance efforts such as Requirements Management, Verification &amp; Validation, RAM, Safety Assurance, Quality Management, EMI/EMC, and others.</li><li>Support cost estimates, project schedules and budget forecasts.</li><li>Perform technical review of other team members’ designs.</li><li>Participate in project pursuit efforts.</li><li>Provide guidance and mentorship to junior personnel as part of team development.</li><li>Perform condition assessments and feasibility studies for state-of-good-repair projects.</li></ul> <ul></ul>
