This role is based in our facility in Preston, Idaho and reports to the Shift Supervisor. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 5am to 3:30 pm and the starting rate is $21.03 per hour.<h2>Job Summary </h2>We are seeking energetic individuals with a keen eye to detail and a positive demeanor for this role. The successful candidate will focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.<h2>Principal Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>With training, set-up, operate and troubleshoot all fabricating machines.</li><li>Set up of molds and the machines for all lines. Lifting and moving large, heavy diameter saws.</li></ul><ul><li>Identify material problems ensuring that the product can be manufactured within the standard requirements of the Company’s Quality Control program.</li><li>Accurately set the process parameters.</li><li>Remove all scrap materials from the manufacturing areas to the designated storage areas, ensuring that material is stored in a logical and orderly fashion.</li><li>Housekeeping around the area and machines.</li><li>Inspect and report potential unsafe or hazardous conditions.</li><li>Troubleshoot problems that involve multiple-choice options and determine the most appropriate course of action.</li><li>Support and stay in sync with the efforts of the Joint, Health &amp; Safety Committee (JHSC).</li><li>Perform a variety of other tasks as needed.</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, however, full training will be provided</li><li>Must be knowledgeable in basic math</li><li>Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn</li><li>Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment</li><li>Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is helpful.</li><li>After training, should exhibit an understanding of various types and sizes of pipes.</li></ul><h2>Working Conditions</h2><ul><li>Manufacturing plant environment</li><li>Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, and heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs.</li><li>The use of hand tools including heat forming, pulling, belling, caps, reducer, saws, gluing</li><li>Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required</li></ul><h2>Benefits </h2><ul><li>401K plan with company match</li><li>Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision coverage options</li><li>Vacation and holidays</li><li>Plant bonus program</li><li>Set schedule with bi-weekly pay</li><li>Basic safety equipment (ie. safety glasses, ear plugs) will be provided</li><li>Reimburse COBRA costs while transitioning to IPEX benefits</li></ul><h2></h2>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
