The Conference on Industry and Resources: Queen’s University Engineering (CIRQUE) is one of Queen’s Engineering’s premier annual conferences. CIRQUE’s mission is to connect STEM students with the business world, showcasing the flexibility of their degrees and exposing them to diverse, interdisciplinary career pathways in consulting, finance, technology, and beyond. The 2026 conference will take place on February 7th, 2026, featuring workshops, keynote speakers, networking sessions, and panels with industry leaders. As a CIRQUE Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering a professional, engaging, and memorable conference experience for over 100 student delegates. Working closely with directors and the co-chairs, coordinators take on specific portfolios and contribute to the planning and execution of the event.Position descriptionsWe are currently hiring for the following positions<ol><li>Logistics Coordinator (key duties: audio/visual support, venue preparation, speaker &amp; delegate materials)   <ol><li>general logistics coordinator (event planning &amp; resource management)</li><li>IT logistics coordinator (more A/V &amp; IT focused)</li></ol></li><li>Relationships Coordinator (key duties: sponsor outreach, speaker coordination, event planning)</li><li>Marketing Coordinator (key duties: campus marketing, social media)</li></ol>Key Responsibilities<ul> <li> Support your Director in the planning and execution of your portfolio (e.g., logistics, sponsorship, marketing). </li> <li> Take ownership of assigned tasks. </li> <li> Collaborate with team to ensure smooth conference operations. </li> <li> Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the delegate experience. </li> <li> Assist with conference day execution (delegate check-in, workshop facilitation, speaker hosting, etc.). </li> </ul>What You’ll Gain<ul> <li> Experience working on a large-scale professional conference. </li> <li> Teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills. </li> <li> Networking opportunities with industry leaders and recruiters. </li> <li> The chance to make a meaningful impact on the professional development of your peers.</li> </ul>Feel free to send any questions, comments or concerns to cirque @engsoc.queensu.caApplication Deadline: October 15th, 2025
