The Queen’s Women in Automotive and Motorsport Industry (QWAI) is an engaging organization that promotes equity and accessibility for women in the automotive and motorsports industry. The annual QWAI Conference held in second semester aims to provide delegates with advice, skills, and connections to lead them to successful careers in these industries and beyond. The QWAI Conference is open to people of all identities, educational disciplines and backgrounds as we hope to help others develop the professional skills needed for them to thrive through speakers, workshops, and networking. We are looking for two individuals to act as QWAI’s First Year Representatives. The Representatives will work directly with QWAI’s coordinators to spread awareness of the conference through information booths, special events, and more. The ideal candidate for this position must have strong communication and time management skills to connect with other students/clubs at Queen’s. The First Year Representatives should also possess creativity and passion for the automotive and motorsport industry in order to find new ways to engage with the student body.  If you have an interest in motorsport, the automotive world, building your network, and planning, this role is perfect for you! Please note that even if you do not have all skills outlined in this description, you are still encouraged to apply!
