The Lead, Distribution oversees diverse material distribution duties to ensure timely and accurate receiving, shipping, inventory and material handling transactions - both from an informational (data entry and communication) and a physical hands-on standpoint. Thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the Distribution Lead is responsible for leading &amp; coordination of all distribution activities, operations, and communication with management to ensure conformance to established procedures, and plays an instrumental part in bringing clean, affordable, and modern energy to the world.  Helps Soligent make a positive impact by:  <ul><li>Leading &amp; supporting daily operations to maximize productivity and meet daily operational goals </li><li>Ensuring completion of daily cycle counts and all inbound and outbound warehouse operations </li><li>Coordinating warehouse activities in an effective and efficient manner to satisfy internal and external customer service  </li><li>Identifying distribution issues and reporting them to the appropriate supervisor/manager</li><li>Leading all inbound and outbound shipment activities including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping </li><li>Audit shipments prior to packing to ensure that goods match the order </li><li>Ensuring proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with the correct order  </li><li>Leading the preparation of shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring orderly files</li><li>Working with the delivery drivers inclusive of supporting truck preparation and routing assignments </li><li>Ensuring site compliance with key company standards for safety, facility maintenance, postings/notifications, and other administrative duties as identified </li><li>Driving adherence to company guidelines and promoting a safe working environment </li><li>Work with the Supervisor and Shipping on coordinating the scheduling of daily transportation </li><li>Help manage receiving transactions and paperwork </li><li>Assist with the inspections of all incoming freight for damage; follows up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues </li><li>Coordinating with team members to ensure maintenance of material inventory levels </li><li>Maintaining housekeeping standards across warehouse, break room, and office space; ensuring these are orderly and organized </li><li>Investigating problems, finding root causes and helps develop solutions </li><li>Identifying, documenting, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement </li><li>Maintaining a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area </li><li>Performing other duties as assigned by the manager  </li></ul>Required Skills/Proficiencies: The DC Lead must have the following skills:  <ul><li>A valid state driver’s license is required  </li><li>3+ years of warehouse experience  </li><li>1+ year of inventory control experience  </li><li>Basic Excel knowledge  </li><li>Proficiency with ERP systems- NetSuite preferred  </li><li>Proficiency with WMS systems - RF Smart preferred </li><li>Commitment to excellence and high standards  </li><li>Ability to act as a flexible and innovative contributor  </li><li>Ability to operate a Forklift and pass certification (existing certification preferred)  </li><li>Demonstrates versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.  </li></ul>Rate: $23Shift: 1st shift<div><div><a href="https://www.soligent.net/ca-privacy-protection-notice/">California Privacy Protection Notice</a> </div></div>
