Founded in 2019,</strong><strong> we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.</strong></p></div></div></div></div></div></div><p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p><p>As the Revenue &amp; AR Accountant, you will be a key member of our corporate accounting team, responsible for assisting in all Revenue &amp; AR Recognition across our global operations.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of an emerging growth company while leveraging your expertise in Revenue &amp; AR accounting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities Will Include:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the Revenue and AR recognition process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards, regulations, and guidelines.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate Revenue Recognition and AR accounting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, including monthly close procedures, with a firm understanding of the revenue recognition standards.</li><li>Preparation of Key Deliverables including:</li><ul><li>Revenue &amp; Billing Workbooks</li><li>Account Reconciliations</li><li>Customer Specific Summaries &amp; Analysis</li><li>Relevant Month and Quarter End Financial Commentary</li></ul></ul><ul><li>Assist in managing the development, implementation, and adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls relating to Revenue and AR accounting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.</li><li>Work closely with Business Development/Commercial Operations teams to ensure early engagement and communication on new contracts, amendments, and invoicing issues.</li><li>Work closely with external auditors, preparing and providing necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth and timely audit process.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to monitor and manage customer budgets, forecasts, and actuals.</li><li>Participate in the design and implementation of financial systems and tools to drive continuous improvement in Revenue and AR accounting processes.</li><li>Create and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.</li><li>Apply customer payments to appropriate invoices.</li><li>Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and coordinate with the Customer Operations team to follow up on past-due invoices.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>1 - 3 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements, including ASC 606.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.</li></ul><div><p><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">The position is full-time.
