Successful hires will contribute to a wide variety of cross-functional matters including finance, legal, sourcing locations, negotiating leases, and managing properties. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing shifting priorities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.Responsibilities<ul style=""><li>Own the pipeline of new locations to support Serve’s strategic needs</li><li>Coordinate with operations, finance and legal to evaluate new locations</li><li>Conduct property visits of both existing and potential properties</li><li>Negotiate leases and own relationships with real estate brokers and new and existing landlords</li><li>Manage Serve’s current portfolio of locations and maintain compliance with existing leases</li><li>Manage, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors as needed to service properties</li><li>Track, forecast, and communicate all real estate related expenses and contracts with the finance and legal teams</li></ul>Qualifications<ul style=""><li>5+ years of commercial real estate experience, with at least 2 years of experience negotiating commercial real estate leases</li><li>Experience managing commercial real estate properties</li><li>You have a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)</li></ul>What Makes You Standout<ul style=""><li>Previous experience as a commercial real estate broker or experience in real estate acquisitions</li><li>Previous experience as a property manager</li><li>Willingness to take on a broad range of tasks is essential</li></ul>
