<p>AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to join our team located in our Baltimore, MD office. This individual will serve as a leader within the team, overseeing multiple projects, and maintaining strong client relationships. As a Project Manager, the appropriately qualified applicant will be part of a team responsible for the design of small to large-scale Ports &amp; Marine projects:</p><ul><li>Manages one or more complex projects involving a full spectrum of engineering services offered by AECOM</li><li>Provides project and technical task management for one or more simultaneous projects</li><li>Identifies problems, determines accuracy and relevance of information, uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations</li><li>Develops and implements project management methodologies and best practices across the team</li><li>Conducts risk assessments and develops mitigation strategies for complex marine engineering projects</li><li>Client Relationships: Ability to assist in developing new client relationships and to strengthen existing client relationships. Ability to identify, understand and focus on clients' key requirements</li><li>Team leadership: good team leadership skills. Self-starter, energetic, pro-active</li><li>Manage engineering design as the supervisor</li><li>Review designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings</li><li>Collects and analyzes data</li><li>Use computer software as a tool for solving basic and complex engineering problems</li><li>Perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule</li><li>Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various engineering disciplines in port and marine projects</li><li>Oversees the preparation and submission of regulatory permits and environmental impact assessments for marine projects</li><li>Mentors and develops junior project managers and team members to enhance overall team capabilities</li><li>Participates in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations for new marine engineering opportunities</li></ul>
