The AECOM Bridge Construction Inspection Team in Edmonton or Calgary  is seeking a self-motivated and team-oriented Bridge Construction Inspector to support bridge projects across Alberta. This role will primarily involve supporting project management and design teams by delivering on-site quality assurance and contract administration. Projects are expected to be located in rural areas. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review contractor submissions and coordinate responses with the AECOM design team</li><li>Monitor contract quantities and prepare and/or support contractor progress estimates</li><li>Inspect contractor work to ensure compliance with contract requirements</li><li>Chair project meetings and prepare meeting minutes</li><li>Coordinate with Owners Representatives on project status and potential issues as needed</li><li>Review contractor quality control measures to confirm adherence to contract specifications</li><li>Prepare inspection reports and other documentation required by the client</li><li>Maintain a daily written diary of key conversations and site activities</li><li>Collect and organize engineering data using established procedures</li><li>Perform routine engineering tasks involving calculations and basic testing</li><li>Propose solutions to new problems encountered in the field</li><li>Identify discrepancies in project results and escalate as appropriate</li><li>Provide guidance to junior engineers or team members</li><li>Perform tasks within the defined budget and schedule with moderate supervision</li><li>Review effectiveness and compliance of contractor Traffic Accommodation and Environmental Compliance Operation Plans</li></ul> <ul></ul>
