Automation has an essential part in this journey. We rely on you, as our DevOps Engineer, to ensure that our automation platforms within Vattenfall are on top of the change and cater to the needs of our stakeholders!DevOps Engineer is a function that will help in interfacing between business needs , stakeholders and development by being able to identify automation needs , gather requirements from the business and the stakeholders, compose the technical documentation needed for the development team to be able to implement .Key Responsibilities :<ul><li>Requirements Gathering: Engaging with stakeholders to collect and understand their needs, desires, and constraints related to the system or product.</li><li>Requirements Analysis: Evaluating and refining the gathered requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and feasible. This includes resolving conflicts between different stakeholders' needs.</li><li>Requirements Documentation: Creating detailed and structured documentation, such as requirements specifications, user stories, and use cases, that clearly outline the expected functionality and constraints of the system.</li><li>Requirements Management: Continuously tracking and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This involves ensuring that any changes in requirements are properly evaluated and incorporated into the project, and that the development team adheres to the documented requirements.</li><li>Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a bridge between the stakeholders and the development team. Ensures that all parties have a common understanding of the project’s goals and constraints.</li><li>Verification and Validation: Assisting in the verification of the system against the requirements to ensure that the final product meets the agreed-upon specifications.</li></ul>Furthermore, you will:<ul><li>Support in transformation/implementation of business needs/requirements into automation solutions</li><li>Work with the engineers from network/storage/compute/applications etc. to develop &amp; maintain the automations</li><li>Work with the team when it comes to automation topics regarding best practices, defining frameworks, organizing workshops, etc</li><li>Together with the development team plan and deliver workflows within the right process leveraging CI/CD, DevSecOps, Software Development Lifecycle and t other 3rd party systems to achieve it</li><li>Develop, release and support automation code for our stakeholders</li></ul>
