The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our all-solid-state battery manufacturing equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing advanced equipment in a high-tech production environment.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of all manufacturing equipment.- Perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues impacting production.- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair history.- Provide training and guidance to production staff on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.- Continuously monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and reliability.- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations in the maintenance and operation of equipment.- Assist in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in battery manufacturing technology.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably in the battery manufacturing or semiconductor industry.- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and methodologies.- Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues.- Familiarity with automated manufacturing systems and control software.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with all solid state battery manufacturing equipment.- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Location: 805 Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica, MA 01821 Factorial Energy is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
