<p>We’re seeking an experienced <strong>Oracle DBA</strong> to support a client’s <strong>non-production Exadata environment</strong>. This role will focus on <strong>Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)</strong> and assist with <strong>Exadata setup and configuration</strong>. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and high-availability architecture.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul> <li>Assist with the setup and configuration of Oracle Exadata in non-production environments.</li> <li>Manage and maintain Oracle RAC clusters.</li> <li>Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.</li> <li>Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.</li> <li>Ensure database security, integrity, and availability.</li> <li>Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support development and testing environments.</li> <li>Document procedures and configurations for future reference.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><h3><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></h3><ul> <li>5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC in enterprise environments.</li> <li>Experience with Exadata setup and administration.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c architecture.</li> <li>Proficiency in backup/recovery strategies and tools (RMAN, Data Guard).</li> <li>Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.</li> <li>Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.</li> </ul><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3><ul> <li>Experience working in non-prod environments supporting development/test teams.</li> <li>Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.</li> <li>Experience with Oracle ASM, OEM, and performance tuning tools.</li> </ul>
