Reporting to the Accounting Manager and working closely with the Controlling team, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and smooth collaboration across teams. In this role you will:  <ol><li>Understand the customer contracts<ul><li>Analyze and maintain a thorough understanding of customer contracts, including key financial terms, billing schedules, and indexation clauses.</li><li>Track and update indexation adjustments in line with contractual requirements and communicate changes internally when needed.<a href="#_msocom_1">[RR1]</a> </li><li> </li></ul></li><li>Project &amp; Billing Setup<ul><li>Request new customer with Accounting</li><li>Create customer projects in SAP based on signed contracts/contract in the pipeline.</li><li>Define working packages and set up billing items (fixed fees, hourly rates, due dates) based on the contract.</li></ul></li></ol> <ol><li>Invoice Preparation &amp; Issuance<ul><li>Draft invoices (fixed fees, out-of-scope, hourly-based services) in SAP.</li><li>Submit invoices for approval to the Controlling Team business controllers and projects controllers.</li><li>Issue final invoices in SAP after approval.</li></ul></li></ol> <ol><li>Client Communication &amp; Payment Follow-up – Sales Person (currently accounting team)<ul><li>Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding invoices, payments, and clarifications.</li><li>Follow up on payments to ensure timely collection and reduce overdue invoices.</li></ul></li></ol> <ol><li>Collaboration within the teams<ul><li>Work closely with Controlling to ensure revenue aligns with the budget.</li><li>Provide Accounting with necessary documentation for intercompany transactions.</li><li>Support month-end closing by ensuring all invoices are issued before the end of the month or accrual.</li><li>Support the Accounting team with the Account receivables reconciliation.</li><li>Support the Accounting team with the Intercompany reconciliation.</li></ul></li></ol> <ol><li>Reporting &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Maintain accurate records of all invoices and payments in SAP.</li><li>Generate reports on billing, outstanding invoices, and revenue tracking and providing it to controlling team perform the month assessment.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements if required.</li><li>Support the controlling team in assess the profitability of the services provided and support the new contract negotiation (Controlling).</li></ul></li></ol> To be successful in the role you will bring: ·        Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.·        Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or General Accounting, ideally in a multinational or project-based environment.·        Strong knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP systems).·        Understanding of invoicing processes, AR management, and revenue recognition.·        Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with both clients and internal stakeholders.·        Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under deadlines.·        Team player who thrives in a collaborative, international setting.What you can expect from us: Working at JERA Nex bp means being part of a global leader in offshore wind, where innovation, collaboration, and sustainability drive everything we do.
