This position requires strong expertise in PLCs, robotics, and electro-mechanical systems, along with proven leadership in managing a skilled maintenance team. The Maintenance Manager will develop and execute proactive maintenance strategies—including preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance—while driving continuous improvement in reliability, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Lead, develop, and mentor the Maintenance team, establishing clear objectives, training programs, and performance standards to build a high-performing department.</li> <li>Ensure maintenance coverage across 2x10hr shift operations, including on-call support for critical equipment issues.</li> <li>Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive maintenance strategies, integrating preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.</li> <li>Oversee maintenance of automated production equipment, including PLC-controlled systems, robotics, CNC machinery, servo drives, and automated inspection systems.</li> <li>Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment failures; develop and implement corrective actions.</li> <li>Utilize and optimize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting on work orders, equipment history, and KPIs.</li> <li>Drive adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies such as remote monitoring, IoT-enabled sensors, and data-driven predictive maintenance tools.</li> <li>Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory, critical spares planning, and capital equipment upgrades.</li> <li>Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to prioritize maintenance activities that minimize downtime and support customer delivery commitments.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, environmental, and safety standards.</li> <li>Implement electrical safety programs, lockout/tagout procedures, and arc flash hazard analysis for high-voltage transformer environments.</li> <li>Coordinate with external vendors, OEMs, and contractors for specialized maintenance, equipment installations, and upgrades.</li> <li>Lead reliability improvement initiatives to increase Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).</li> <li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, using Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve uptime, efficiency, and cost savings.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.
