This role is based in our facility in Bellingham, WA and reports to the Production Manager. The hours are Monday – Friday from 6am-2.30pm; Overtime and Weekends as needed. This position will start at $25.25 per hour.<h2>Job Summary </h2>We are seeking an energetic individual with a keen eye to detail and a positive demeanor. The successful candidate will focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.<h2>Principal Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Work safely and be quality conscious</li><li>Pay strong attention to detail while focusing on safety and quality</li><li>Safely operate power tools and manufacturing equipment</li><li>Able to read a tape measure</li><li>Comprehend and follow instructions</li><li>Understand and follow established work procedures and instructions, including mandated safety guidelines</li><li>Remain calm and professional during peak periods</li><li>Balance multiple tasks simultaneously</li><li>Follow timelines and schedules</li><li>Work as and contribute to being a team</li><li>Troubleshoot malfunctions and situations as they arise, advising appropriate staff of problems beyond scope of normality</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Requirements </h2><ul><li>High School diploma or certificate of completion is preferred</li><li>Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred; plastic experience is an asset</li><li>Must be knowledgeable in measurement systems and basic math</li><li>Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn</li><li>Great teammate with a proven track record to contribute to and cultivate a positive work environment</li><li>Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English</li><li>Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. on a consistent basis</li></ul>Working Conditions Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to 30-40 lbs.
