<h2>Position Summary</h2><p>The Outage Discipline Coordinator – Instrumentation &amp; Controls (I&amp;C) provides direct coordination, planning, and oversight of I&amp;C maintenance activities during refueling outages, forced outages, and online work windows. This position ensures I&amp;C work scope is fully integrated into the outage schedule, executed to industry standards, and aligned with site objectives for nuclear safety, reliability, and cost per MW performance.</p><p></p><h2>Major Roles and Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Develop and publish logic-tied, resource-loaded outage schedules for I&amp;C scope, ensuring compliance with Technical Specifications, Work Management standards, and station scheduling guidelines.</li><li>Coordinate I&amp;C work packages with Operations, Engineering, Radiation Protection, and Work Management to ensure readiness, safe execution, and alignment with station priorities.</li><li>Identify contractor work split, specialty skills, and resource requirements; coordinate support services (scaffolding, temporary lighting, insulation, etc.) needed for I&amp;C activities.</li><li>Drive discipline outage readiness by developing detailed plans with milestones, timelines, and accountable actions for pre-outage deliverables.</li><li>Provide real-time oversight in the Outage Control Center (OCC) for I&amp;C work scope, including schedule adherence, emergent issue resolution, and contingency planning.</li><li>Assist I&amp;C Maintenance Manager with milestone management, outage budget support, scope identification and validation, execution oversight and daily reporting.</li><li>Capture lessons learned, trend I&amp;C performance, and implement continuous improvement practices consistent with INPO 19-003 cultural expectations.</li><li>Ensure I&amp;C corrective actions are linked to AP-913 Equipment Reliability processes and long-term asset health planning.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of I&amp;C maintenance experience in a nuclear power plant, including troubleshooting, testing, and system restoration.</li><li>Experience with Work Management processes, outage implementation, and nuclear safety requirements.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline.</li><li>Broad knowledge of nuclear I&amp;C systems, standards, and equipment reliability practices.</li><li>Familiarity with Primavera P6 (logic ties, work windows, manpower loading, reporting).</li><li>Proficiency with station CAP/Work Management software (NIMS, SAP, Maximo, or equivalent).</li><li>Demonstrated leadership in outage schedule integration and milestone readiness.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Key Attributes</h2><ul><li>Strong organizational and facilitation skills, capable of coordinating high-volume I&amp;C work in a complex outage environment.</li><li>Analytical and adaptive problem solver, with the ability to manage emergent issues and contingency plans under pressure.</li><li>Effective communicator with proven ability to align work across Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and vendor partners.</li><li>Committed to nuclear safety, continuous learning, and achieving site objectives for safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation.</li></ul><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Note: </b><span>You will have an opportunity to add attachments to your application.
