This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety, and driving continuous improvement in workplace health and safety. The ability to develop solutions to sophisticated challenges that improve safety, efficiency and performance are keys to success for this role. Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. </li><li>Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance. </li><li>Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; develop and implement corrective and preventive actions. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). </li><li>Provide EHS training and education to employees, contractors and new hires. </li><li>Monitor and report on identified EHS performance metrics; recommend and drive improvements. </li><li>Provide guidance to frontline employees on activities involving Energy Isolation, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, and Critical Lifts. </li><li>Ability to serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors. </li><li>Champion early hazard mitigation using the hierarchy of Controls </li><li>Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental processes and policies;
