Are you ready to be a part of a team committed to changing the world?</p></div><h2>Who You Are</h2><p>As a Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of a large-scale, high-volume manufacturing facility. </p><p>This role involves planning preventive and corrective maintenance, managing work orders, coordinating resources, and ensuring minimal downtime for production equipment. The Maintenance Planner works closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, production teams, and external vendors to optimize equipment reliability, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.</p><h2>Responsibilities and Duties  </h2><ul><li>Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules, balancing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.</li><li>Prioritize and plan work orders based on urgency, production requirements, and resource availability.</li><li>Ensure that maintenance activities are planned with minimal disruption to production.</li><li>Coordinate planned maintenance with production schedules to maximize equipment uptime.</li><li>Create, review, and assign maintenance work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).</li><li>Ensure all necessary materials, tools, and spare parts are available before maintenance activities begin.</li><li>Track work order progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate unforeseen issues.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance tasks, failure analysis, and improvement actions.</li><li>Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry standards.</li><li>Coordinate maintenance activities with safety teams to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Collaborate with operations production specialist to define and prioritize maintenance and vendor support</li><li>Collaborate with operations production specialist and engineering group to support and maintain the maintenance work schedule</li><li>Maintain documentation and records required for audits and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Act as a liaison between maintenance, production, and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with business goals.</li><li>Communicate maintenance schedules and work plans to relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Provide reports on maintenance KPIs, including downtime, work order completion rates, and cost metrics.</li><li>Develop and refine preventive maintenance (PM) programs to enhance equipment reliability and longevity.</li><li>Work with reliability engineers to implement predictive maintenance (PdM) strategies using condition monitoring tools such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and oil analysis.</li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for maintenance strategies.</li></ul><h2>Knowledge and Skill Requirements </h2><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent OR Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance planning experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, Fiix).</li><li>Familiarity with industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and P&amp;IDs.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.</li><li>Nice to have; Certification in Maintenance Planning &amp; Scheduling (e.g., SMRP, CMRP, or PMP).</li><li>Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.</li><li>Understanding of industry regulations such as OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI.</li></ul><h2>Physical Demands and Working Conditions</h2><ul><li>Pass a respirator fit test and be able to wear respiratory protection on a daily basis</li><li>Wear personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, and steel toe safety shoes</li><li>Move items up to 50 lbs with the assistance of lift equipment and carts</li><li>Move long distances (such as from building to building) and be stationary for extended periods of time</li><li>Reach low shelves or items on the floor</li><li>Enter spaces narrower than 3 feet</li><li>Climb stairs or over containment walls</li><li>Precise and repetitive handling of a range of material quantities</li><li>Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location</li></ul><p> </p><p>The starting base pay for this role is between $103,000 and $135,000 at the time of posting.
