AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Industrial Project Manager) to lead complex engineering projects for a major industrial manufacturing client. This role combines technical engineering expertise with project management responsibilities, overseeing large-scale mechanical systems from conception through completion while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Technical Engineering: <ul><li>Design and construct HVAC and plumbing systems using building information modeling (BIM) </li><li>Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, architectural, and other disciplines for integrated building designs </li><li>Perform construction inspection and observation, producing detailed project reports </li><li>Review and enhance existing engineering standards, techniques, and practices </li><li>Evaluate and apply standard engineering procedures and judgment for complex system solutions </li><li>Utilize Autodesk REVIT, CAD, and other design tools </li><li>Review and edit technical specifications and documentation </li></ul>Project Leadership &amp; Management: <ul><li>Manage overall project administration and establish project-specific objectives and policies </li><li>Provide leadership and guidance to subordinate managers and technical staff </li><li>Serve as primary liaison between AECOM and client stakeholders </li><li>Oversee all project phases from budgeting and scheduling through procurement and contract closeout </li><li>Maintain significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned projects </li><li>Ensure projects are executed in accordance with design specifications, budget constraints, and schedule requirements </li></ul>
