<p></p><p>The Argonne Tandem Linear Accelerator System (ATLAS)—the world’s first heavy-ion superconducting linear accelerator—has operated for more than four decades as a user facility advancing nuclear physics and its applications. ATLAS relies on robust utilities infrastructure, including AC electrical distribution, process water, and HVAC systems.
