The system feature owner will be responsible for the key areas of inverters, across a complete development V cycle, from concept to final test.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Lead technical development for the system feature with cross-functional development teams, component leads and customers.</li><li>Negotiate the technical requirements, scope and subcontract deliverables for the system feature.</li><li>Use knowledge to drive and disseminate system level requirements and architectural proposals.</li><li>Use knowledge to ensure designs meet requirements and test quality and coverage are ensured.</li><li>Drive engineering competencies, suppliers, and partners to ensure commitment to internal quality processes during the development, execution and verification.</li><li>Lead the technical analysis, trade off studies, FMEAs, design reviews and customer presentations for the defined features.</li><li>Manage the execution of all systems engineering activities and product deliverables consistent with the SE process.</li><li>Be a single point of reference for related change requests and issue investigations.</li><li>Work closely with the SW, HW and Testing team to drive the implementation and verification for the defined features.</li><li>Support the definition and continuous improvement of systems engineering processes, methods, and tools.</li><li>Document and share best-practices.</li><li>Mentor less experienced engineers; role model for BW Beliefs.</li></ul>What we’re looking for<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar</li><li>Experience in related engineering field applying Systems Engineering principles throughout the product life cycle in one or more of the following areas:</li><li>Automotive electronics product development</li><li>Power electronics, especially motor drive inverters</li><li>Systems Engineering</li><li>In depth knowledge of requirements elicitation, analysis, definition, and management</li><li>Experience with electronics systems, especially in the areas of sensors and actuators</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem solving skills</li><li>Knowledge of embedded software and / or hardware development.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language.
