Eliminating or reducing risks where practicable by complying with site safety rules and instructions and reporting hazards to management for prompt action.</li><li>Collaborate with production team to ensure correct prioritisation of daily/weekly action.</li><li>Be aware of the impact maintenance may have on the energy performance of equipment, in particular equipment which is a significant energy user.</li><li>Be aware of the impact maintenance may have on equipment safety features and the potential safety risks or hazards due to the removal or alteration of such features.</li><li>Adhere to Plant Safety requirements and Health &amp; Safety requirements relating to your work, assuming responsibility for those aspects of the OH&amp;S System over which you have control to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others.</li><li>Be aware of the potential environmental impacts associated with your work and the implications of non-conformance.</li><li>Contribute to enhanced energy performance by conservation of energy where possible (Lighting, Equipment, Air Conditioning etc).</li><li>Contribute to the continual improvement activities of the OH&amp;S, Environmental and Energy Management systems through participation, providing feedback/ suggestions for improvement and by reporting accidents, dangerous occurrence, near miss/ illness, good catch and environmental incidents in a timely manner.</li><li>Training relevant Production Operators in correct use of process equipment and in product specifications.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1>The successful candidate will ideally have previous trade experience (Toolmaker, Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic etc.) or NFQ Level 6 in a Technical Discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or Electrical).<ul><li>Mechanical, Electrical or Lean Six Sigma certification – Highly Desirable.</li><li>Process experience in Grinding, Moulding, EDM and/or Laser processes – Distinct Advantage</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to be adaptable and flexible while managing multiple ongoing tasks.</li><li>Enthusiastic and positive attitude in dealing with people.</li><li>A hands-on approach to diagnosing and fixing manufacturing issues.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues in a systematic approach.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel.</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
