And would you like to work with colleagues who are experts in turning complex technical challenges into tailored service solutions, while developing global customer relations?Responsibilities / TasksAt GEA, you will be responsible for your own market and customer portfolio – combining deep process knowledge with strong sales and relationship-building.You’ll be based at GEA’s Global Technology Centre in Søborg – where you will be part of a specialised service sales team that works with refurbishments, rebuilds, upgrades and sustainability solutions for spray drying and fluid bed plants in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.The team consists of seven experienced colleagues who manage the full sales journey, from the very first customer dialogue to the signed contract.As Area Sales Manager you are responsible for service and project sales in your assigned markets within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. You combine desk-based work in Søborg with customer meetings abroad, where you present solutions and close deals. Travel is an integrated part of the job, but with schedules planned to ensure a good balance with your home life.  More specifically, you will:<ul><li>identify customer requirements for refurbishment, upgrades or modernisation</li><li>develop detailed quotations in collaboration with internal experts</li><li>manage the sales process from first enquiry to signed contract</li><li>build and maintain strong customer relationships across markets</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsYou understand spray drying processes and plant optimisation, and you know how to turn this knowledge into commercial opportunities. As a person, you are proactive and outgoing, able to juggle several projects at once while still keeping a clear overview.
