This role will combine hands-on selling with team leadership and growth, ensuring our go-to-market strategy is executed with precision while developing and scaling our US sales organization. The Sales Director will own key client relationships, drive new business, and manage a team of Account Executives to deliver consistent, predictable revenue growth.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p><strong>Strategic leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Define and execute the sales strategy in alignment with company growth objectives.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Account Executives, providing coaching on prospecting, deal management, and account growth.</li><li>Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to refine positioning, improve lead generation, and enhance the customer journey.</li><li>Forecast revenue and build robust sales pipelines using data-driven insights.</li></ul><p><strong>Hands-on sales execution</strong></p><ul><li>Own senior-level relationships with strategic accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.</li><li>Personally lead on high-value enterprise deals, from prospecting through negotiation and closing.</li><li>Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer forums, positioning us as a market leader.</li><li>Stay close to the market and competitive landscape, bringing feedback into product and strategy discussions.</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in SaaS, data, or energy/technology sectors.</li><li>Leadership experience managing and scaling sales teams, ideally in high-growth environments.</li><li>Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with C-level executives.</li><li>Experience working cross-functionally to align sales with product, marketing, and customer success.</li></ul><h3><strong>Desired skills and attributes</strong></h3><ul><li>A hands-on leader who balances strategic oversight with active deal participation.</li><li>Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with an ability to forecast, plan, and report effectively.</li><li>Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset – proactive, adaptable, and driven by results.</li></ul><h3><strong>Important Details</strong></h3><ul><li>For New York Applicants, the base salary range for this position is 150 - 200k per year, depending on experience, plus bonus.</li><li>We are an in-person company that values collaboration and team culture.
