The Manufacturing Engineers work with cross-functional teams developing manufacturing equipment and processes throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with Design Engineering, Quality and Production to take product design changes and new designs from initial concept through prototype development and into full production. </p><p><strong>You will:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in the development and optimization of paint shop processes, and workflows.</li><li>Support data collection and analysis to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Maintain and update work instructions using tools like Proplanner.</li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support root cause analysis for process issues.</li><li>Participate in trials, validations, and implementation of new technologies or materials.</li><li>Provide hands-on support during production shifts to troubleshoot and resolve issues.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles.</li></ul><p>You Bring:</p><ul><li>Technical certification or coursework in industrial engineering or manufacturing is a plus.</li><li>Strong computer skills and willingness to learn Proplanner (Work Instruction Software).</li><li>Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments preferred.</li><li>Good communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.</li><li>Familiarity with automated manufacturing equipment</li><li>Experience introducing new equipment and new processes into a production environment</li><li>Exemplary verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><p>Lucid is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
