The role of the Campaigner is to support BFF’s European campaign related to phasing out coal in favor of renewables, with a special emphasis in Poland. If you are passionate about the difference civil society can make to replace fossil fuels with local energy solutions in a just way, and are an experienced civil society organisation campaign strategist, we want to hear from you. <ul><li>Position: Campaigner in Poland</li><li>Preferable start date: January 2026</li><li>Application deadline: 9th November 2025 </li><li>Employment type: Full-time, Permanent Staff Contract</li><li>Location: Anywhere in Poland.</li></ul>Please note that we are unable to provide relocation support, either from outside Europe or within Europe. The role can be performed remotely from anywhere in Poland. Your responsibilities <ul><li>Work closely with allies in Poland to identify opportunities and develop winning strategies with links to BFF’s European campaign (40%). This includes:<ul><li>Understanding and supporting the needs and priorities of BFF member organisations and allies in Poland, including through coordinating regular calls; </li><li>Coordinating activities with Polish BFF member organisations on communications, advocacy and campaign pushes. This includes press releases and media pitching;</li><li>Expert understanding of the policy and politics of the energy transition in Poland, especially on renewable energy and clean flexibility, energy markets and grids, plants (coal and gas), and mines and regions;</li><li>Coordinating responses to coal plant closures, government coal announcements, and developments in coal regions in transition in Poland;</li><li>A special emphasis on identifying BFF’s campaign priorities for Poland’s just transition away from fossil fuels, and the central role that local energy solutions, such as renewables and clean flexibility, play in that. </li></ul></li><li>Support BFF’s coal campaign (60%) by: <ul><li>Coordinating, in collaboration with others, the implementation of BFF’s coal campaign priorities across Europe; </li><li>Working with the BFF data and comms teams to keep the BFF’s coal exit data tool updated and relevant.
