In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth in our solar, wind, and battery energy storage system (BESS) development activities across the Philippines.As Business Development Manager, you will lead in identifying, securing, and developing renewable energy projects—from early-stage opportunities through to financial close and commencement of construction.You will be expected to analyze market dynamics, originate and structure complex transactions, negotiate agreements, and manage both internal and external development processes. Success in this role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and strong leadership to guide projects to construction readiness. Main responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Contribute to the development of and updating of the strategy for Scatec within the region</li> <li>Lead market reviews, analysing regulatory issues and policy supports for utility-scale renewable energy projects, and develop business and project development strategies for the region</li> <li>Identify key markets, customers, and project opportunities to be prioritized for development</li> <li>Develop a deep understanding of the power market within the region</li> <li>Identify and nurture relationships with local/regional developers, brokers, banks, contractors, suppliers etc. to identify solar, wind, BESS, and other project opportunities  </li> <li>Identify, screen, evaluate and acquire new business and project opportunities</li> <li>Negotiate with prospective partners and establish project development or acquisition agreements to take over projects</li> <li>Support or lead project development and structuring of secured projects under development</li> <li>Support the processes of project finance and execution preparations for the projects</li> <li>Support process of local set-up, where required</li> <li>Lead and coordinate internal and external project development efforts including securing land, obtaining required local permits and approvals, securing interconnection rights from utilities, negotiating PPAs with utilities, establishing EPC and O&amp;M agreements, as well as securing project equity and debt financing.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul> <li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, law or other relevant fields.
