<div> Job Details <div>Job Location:    Stockton Warehouse - Stockton, CA</div> <div>Salary Range:    $25.00 - $35.00 Hourly</div> <div>Travel Percentage:    None</div> <div>Job Shift:    Any</div> </div>DescriptionThe Field Service Technician will assist the field service team in the performance of their job duties, such as troubleshooting and routine maintenance.Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Safe Travel &amp; Professional Conduct: Drive safely to job sites, arrive on time, and be fully prepared with all necessary tools and documents. Always maintaining a professional appearance and character on all job sites and with all customers and including maintaining a safe and clean work environment.</li><li>Customer Introduction: Greet the customer professionally, introduce yourself, explain the service process, and answer any initial questions.</li><li>Pet Safety Awareness: Politely ask the customer to secure any pets (dogs, cats, etc.) to prevent interference and ensure a safe working environment for all parties (installers, techs, inspectors, electricians) and the animals.</li><li>Customer Communication: Maintain clear and respectful communication with the customer, providing updates and setting expectations throughout the visit.</li><li>Timeliness &amp; Preparedness: Maintaining a well-stocked vehicle with any and all required tools and/or equipment to ensure successful installation. Prepare the jobsite for inspections, including ladder setup, opening electrical equipment, and completing any outstanding work required for the inspection,c omplete troubleshooting, maintaining, servicing, and repairing solar PV systems and associated equipment</li><li>Documentation &amp; Uploads: (When Applicable) Upload all data, update projects, and notes accurately and promptly into internal platforms. Handle any paperwork in an organized manner (i.e., taking paperwork for inspections from the warehouse and returning it promptly)</li><li>Team Collaboration: Coordinating and attending municipal solar inspections, following up with inspectors and town offices for clearances and job completions, informing customers of inspection results and explaining the process forward, relaying results to the office/service team  </li><li>Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and awareness of surroundings on roofs and residential properties, ensure knowledge and comfort with OSHA safety standards, and strict adherence to company safety policies regarding fall protection, protective equipment, tailgate training, and more.Ensuring work is performed in accordance with Environmental and Safety requirements</li><li>Work Conditions &amp; Weight Requirements: Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold), including climbing ladders and working at elevated heights of two or more stories, must be comfortable being harnessed on a roof while some roofs may be steep in pitch and able to work with various ground and roof mount racking systems.
