We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our end to end finance applications</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">This role is an opportunity to be part of the ongoing success of Finance and the team’s ability to successfully implement new systems &amp; control frameworks for the Group.  </span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">Working in Octopus’ Finance Systems &amp; Governance team, you will be responsible for documenting end to end Finance processes, identifying best practices, controls and procedures.  You will be central to the development of a Group wide Risk &amp; Control Matrix and ensuring that Octopus’ Finance has audit reliance.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">You will also be responsible for working with stakeholders across all our Octopus’ entities to capture requirements for Finance applications; this includes but is not limited to NetSuite.  </span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">You'll be part of a business-critical transformation, with the chance to contribute to the delivery of a modern ERP platform and Finance Control Framework.. This is a collaborative, ambitious environment where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference.</span></div><br><br><h3>What you'll do</h3><ul><li>Be responsible for interviewing Finance Stakeholders to capture and document as is business processes</li><li>Using your knowledge of FInancial processes and controls, identify risks and devise appropriate risk management and controls and to-be processes which will also inform our finance transformation</li><li>Report on new requirements, gaps in Finance systems, controls and processes</li><li>Ensure Finance is following best practices and processes are designed to be re-used where possible</li><li>Identify problems within the business relating, through data modelling techniques and process flows.</li><li>Have the ability to streamline processes.</li><li>Communicate with senior people within the organisation.</li><li>Part of this assignment will be to run workshops and training sessions in order to ensure that everyone is on board and understands the processes involved</li><li>Work closely with the business to address finding raised by the audit committee</li><li>Develop and manage a risk control matrix</li><li>Align internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies/requirements/processes.</li><li>Control business analysis activities as required during the project lifecycle from project initiation through to closure</li><li>Support the UAT (e.g. test case creation &amp; execution) and provide knowledge and expertise to support defect resolution.</li><li>Support (and undertake where necessary) business change activities e.g. training.</li><li>Conduct peer reviews and workshops for requirements definitions, As-Is and To-Be models to ensure quality, completeness and unambiguity</li><li>Develop user documentation</li></ul><h3>What you'll need </h3><ul><li>Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, with 6+  years of experience with finance solutions</li><li>Demonstrable experience of Finance Controls, Processes and Procedures </li><li>Experience working within a Project team</li><li>Ability to operate confidently in a multi-country, culturally diverse environment</li><li>Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity across project management and business analysis</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li></ul><br><div><b>If this sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you. </b></div><div><br></div><div>Are you ready for a career with us?
