You will hold special project lead status for critical-timing battery project execution.</p><p><strong>You will:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Become Special Projects</strong> leader of <strong>engineering scope change</strong> and cap-up projects for product design changes and critical validations.</li><li><strong>Design Ownership</strong>: Develop manufacturing process for unique manufacturing and prototype lines.</li><li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong>: Collaboratively work with Product Design, Beta Team, Advanced Manufacturing, External vendors to drive manufacturing equipment and product tooling reviews.</li><li>Use <strong>3D modeling</strong> and simulations to validate equipment and fixture designs.</li><li>Work under minimal guidance to identify project criticality and execute necessary tasks for equipment design.</li><li>Efficiently implement engineering solutions on manufacturing equipment based on product design changes.</li></ul><p><strong>You bring:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Bachelor’s degree</strong> in Engineering, STEM or related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience.</li><li><strong>A minimum of five (5) years of experience</strong> in high-volume manufacturing equipment and process engineering.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Battery Manufacturing Processes: </strong>Enclosure, Pack, Module<strong>. </strong>GD&amp;T, CMM, OMM, leak test, adhesive dispense, accelerated curing, Hipot testing, Dielectrics, EOAT, Leak tests, End of line testing (HV/LV), AGVs, ASRS equipment, Vision with automated Fiducial offsets, Laser welding, bar code reading, vision system inspection, potting, HV testing, box cutting automation, ASRS, Potting Etc.</li><li style="font-style:italic;"><em>Preference placed towards candidates with deep understanding and experience with<strong> Battery Laser Welding.</strong></em></li><li>Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company.</li><li>Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time (domestic &amp; international).</li><li>Deep understanding of AutoCAD, Catia/3D CAD.</li></ul><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
