Position OverviewSolid Power is seeking an On-Site Project Manager (Contract Role) to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next generation, all solid-state electrolytes. Solid Power is a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative team environment. The On-Site Project Manager will act as the central resource and driving force for the line installation agreement with our customer. This is a critical position that will be essential to making Solid Power’s partnerships and product development a success. This position will be for a 6-month contract with an end date of May 1.Job Duties<ul><li> Develop and maintain effective communication channels with joint development partners and all internal stakeholders.</li><li>Support phase-gate reviews and ensure program milestones are achieved.</li><li>Initiate and foster relationships with partners, contractors, and internally.</li><li>Work onsite on cell manufacturing line in Daejeon, Korea.</li><li>Manage everyday work at the site while collaborating closely with contractors to ensure program objectives are met. </li><li>Supervise daily production activities to ensure alignment with project plans. Monitor subcontractors and crew performance on site and resolve production bottlenecks or delays.</li><li>Record and maintain a change log with dates, reasons and responsible parties. </li><li>Attend equipment preparation progress (SAT).</li><li>Provide daily or weekly technical reports summarizing site activities, changes or compliance issues.</li><li>Observe worksite practices to ensure adherence to agreed upon processes and safety standards.</li><li>Coordinate logistics, deliveries and access to ensure smooth workflow.</li><li>Ensure all necessary permits are coordinated and in place. Maintain organized record of permits and related documentation.</li></ul>Qualifications/RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical disciplineExperience:<ul><li>8+ years of industry experience in process/manufacturing/engineering with 2+ years in a battery related field</li><li>3+ years of site deployment experience</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Korean/English language proficiency</li></ul> Skills:<ul><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and manage subcontractors effectively in dynamic site environments.</li><li>Experience serving as a Program Manager with direct customer engagement and relationship management.</li><li>Skilled in gaining buy-in across all organizational levels, even in high-stakes or sensitive situations.</li><li>Deep understanding of phase gate methodology and its application in complex projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with sharp analytical thinking.</li><li>Quick to adapt and thrive in fast-paced, start-up or high-growth settings.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li><li>  Must be able for site deployment starting Q4 2025.</li></ul>Preferred QualificationsCertifications: Project Management Professional (PMP)Industry Experience:<ul><li>Battery equipment makers experience is preferred.</li></ul> Export Control RequirementsThis position requires access to technology, software and other information that is subject to governmental access control restrictions, due to export controls.
