We hope you will join us.OverviewAs the NetSuite Technical Lead &amp; Administrator, you will serve as the technical owner of our financial systems ecosystem, with NetSuite at its core. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage system configurations, integrations, security, and ensure overall system health across tools such as NetSuite Planning &amp; Budgeting (NSPB), Avalara, Rillion, FloQast, and banking platforms.You will partner closely with Finance, Tax, and Digital teams to balance day-to-day support with long-term scalability, automation, and optimization initiatives. This is a high-impact role requiring both deep technical proficiency and a systems architecture mindset.Responsibilities<ul><li>Act as the primary NetSuite Administrator, responsible for configurations, roles/permissions, saved searches, workflows, dashboards, bundles, and sandbox environments.</li><li>Own technical design, implementation/configuration, and oversight of all integrated financial systems (e.g., NSPB, Avalara, Rillion, FloQast, banking tools).</li><li>Design, scope, and implement system enhancements, automations, and integrations in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.</li><li>Support Finance and Accounting with reporting, compliance &amp; audits, and automation across key cycles (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, month-end close).</li><li>Manage testing, release management, documentation, and training for NetSuite and related systems</li><li>Ensure system governance, data integrity, and security across all financial platforms.</li><li>Provide timely user support by managing tickets, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors as needed.</li><li>Monitor and optimize system performance: perform regular maintenance (backups, security patches), and stay current on NetSuite releases and best practices to maximize system reliability and scalability.</li><li>Monitor system performance, perform regular maintenance (e.g., backups, security patches), and stay up to date on NetSuite releases and best practices to ensure optimal system performance.</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience Required<ul><li>Embrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek Renewables</li><li>5+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration in a multi-entity or global environment.</li><li>Deep understanding of core NetSuite modules: GL, AP, AR, Projects, Fixed Assets.</li><li>Strong proficiency with saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows</li><li>Familiarity with adjacent systems such as NSPB, Avalara, Rillion, and FloQast.</li><li>Proven experience delivering system enhancements and managing change requests.</li><li>Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.</li></ul>Experience Preferred<ul><li>Experience in energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.</li><li>Understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with integration platforms (Celigo, Boomi, Mulesoft) and APIs.</li><li>Working knowledge of SuiteScript, SQL, or NetSuite Analytics.</li></ul>Location: The preferred location for this role is one of our office locations: Durham, NC or Washington DC. Our team operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office schedule of three days per week.Compensation: The salary range for the position is $100,000-$150,000 plus bonus and benefits.
