RRE acts as the frontline incident response team for complex technical issues that arise during fleet operations—especially those that block on-road missions or impact fleet-wide performance. When operational teams encounter problems they can’t resolve, RRE steps in to triage, diagnose, and coordinate the resolution, often collaborating with both hardware and software engineering groups.About the Role As a Robotics and Reliability Engineer, you'll be the technical point of contact (POC) for diagnosing and resolving on-site issues. You'll work directly with our robotic systems, acting as the first line of defense for a wide range of technical challenges, from system-level glitches to software and connectivity problems.Your role goes beyond just fixing things. We're looking for someone who can proactively identify systemic weaknesses and architect long-term solutions. You'll lead projects from end to end, driving improvements through automation, process enhancements, and cross-functional collaboration. For this position, the reasonably expected base pay range is between $117,491 and $176,439 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
