Outreach is responsible for maintaining strong relationships between Engineering and the rest of Queen’s Campus and the Kingston community. We participate in and run events both on and off campus to get students involved, help others, and build connections. Examples of events include representing EngSoc in the Kingston Santa Claus Parade, running events in collaboration with other faculties, and creating care packages for those in need.There is both low and mediocre commitment options available. Low commitment: Attend bi-weekly meetings and help out as needed during Outreach events. Total: (2-5 hours/month)Mediocre commitment: Attend bi-weekly meetings, and choose one event or initiative to lead. For example, manage the Santa Claus parade float construction, or run the social media page.
